Real-World Skills for Real-World Success
Delivered in a unique farm-based environment, Different Steps CIC provides practical education that builds confidence, independence and pathways into employment.
Based at Animal Antiks in Buckinghamshire, we support young people aged 16–24 to develop the skills they need for adult life.

Our programmes are designed for young people who:
Have an EHCP
Are aged 16–24
Want to develop independence and life skills
Are looking for a pathway into employment
Benefit from hands-on, practical learning
We understand that every learner is different, and we create tailored pathways to support each individual.
Traditinal classroom environments don’t work for everyone.
At Different Steps CIC, learning happens through:
Working with animals
Practical land-based activities
Real-life responsibilities
Structured but supportive routines
This helps students:
Build confidence through achievement
Develop practical, transferable skills
Improve communication and teamwork
Gain a sense of purpose and direction

We offer structured post-16 programmes designed to support both personal development and future employment.
